Analytics choices

Analytics is optional. If allowed, Google measures public pages, navigation, recognized acquisition sources and engagement, including tool and playground use. The site excludes entered code, search terms and form contents from its Analytics events. You can withdraw here. This choice does not change advertising consent.

HTML, CSS and JavaScript playground

Edit and run code locally, or copy a complete HTML file.

Loading starting example…

Keep a Share link to reopen imported code. The cleaned address does not contain it; this tab can restore the starting state while its history entry remains. Edits are not saved automatically.

Command+Enter or Ctrl+Enter runs your code. Tab moves to the next control.

Live preview

Runs only when you choose

The isolated preview blocks external requests, forms and popups. Copy HTML includes any labelled sample images shown here. Copy snippet on a lesson keeps the original source. For printing, use the copied file in your own browser.

Try HTML code in your browser

Choose one of the original examples, edit its HTML, CSS or JavaScript, then choose Run code. The preview is isolated from the page and blocks network requests. No account is required.

  1. Choose a starting example and load it.
  2. Change one detail. Use Command+Enter or Ctrl+Enter to update the result.
  3. Copy HTML to create a complete document, save it as example.html and open it in your browser.

What the preview can do

Local HTML, inline CSS, JavaScript and packaged sample images work here. External scripts, network calls, server code, submitted forms, popups and printing are restricted. A copied document runs with your browser’s normal permissions; review unfamiliar code before opening it.

Source and shared code

Lesson Try links load a short source identifier. Share creates a URL containing the code after #. Anyone with that link can read it. Keep passwords and personal information out of shared examples. Your edits are not automatically saved.
