Original example code: free to use and change

The owner permits you to use, copy, modify and redistribute the site's original complete example code for personal or commercial work, including your own websites and client projects. This includes the inline HTML, CSS, JavaScript and embedded illustration supplied with those original examples.

No payment, attribution or backlink to HTML Free Codes is required. You may remove optional credits and adapt the code to your project. The copied and downloaded examples contain no required promotional link.

This permission is non-exclusive and applies to rights the owner can grant. It does not transfer copyright or give exclusive ownership of an unmodified example. Your own original additions remain yours to the extent applicable law gives you rights in them. No registration or approval request is required for this permitted reuse.

Retained snippets and third-party material

The reuse permission above covers the site-authored original complete examples. It does not automatically cover older retained snippets, archived third-party code, externally linked material, third-party assets, trademarks or entire copied articles. Follow any license or credit requirements attached to those materials and obtain permission when needed.

A historical author credit or recovered filename does not establish a license. Original alternatives are identified separately from retained learning snippets. Ask if a specific material's rights are unclear; this site cannot grant rights owned by someone else.

Check code before using it

Examples are learning material supplied as is. Test your adapted code, accessibility, security, dependencies and browser behavior before putting it into a real project. Examples do not promise universal browser support or fitness for every purpose. Older snippets may need missing assets, a server or changes described in their preview notes.

The playground is an isolated learning preview, not a private hosting service or a guarantee that arbitrary code is safe. Saved files run outside that isolation. Do not use the site to expose credentials, private data or code you are not allowed to share.

External destinations and advertising

External websites and their products have their own terms. Google AdSense supplies one manual unit on selected substantive public pages, with a second unit on nine substantial lessons. Learning pages use a bounded desktop sidebar square with a normal-flow fallback on smaller or touch layouts; editor and discovery/search states are excluded. An advertisement is not a recommendation or a guarantee about the advertised product. Read the privacy notice for the current data and advertising status.
